What data do we collect about you?
We collect and process data to perform different services and functions in our business, including identity data (name, d.o.b, username); contact data (email address, phone number/s, billing address); financial data (payment card details, bank account); technical data (login data, time zone, internet address); profile data (username, password, purchases); communications data (your marketing preferences).
Our website uses cookies to help us understand site traffic and use, so we can develop and improve the website. If you are a client we may also collect sensitive data from you in order to deliver our services such as mental and emotional health or sexual orientation (only if relevant to the work). We only use your personal data where legally permitted. Uses include to process and deliver your order; manage payments; communicate with you for the purposes of mentoring, teaching or training; request a referral or testimonial; for marketing (with your consent); to analyse our website, services, marketing and client/student experiences; to suggest complimentary resources or services that may be of interest to you. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. When you unsubscribe we may continue to process your data to deliver a product or service to you (if applicable).
Sharing your data
We use the services of a number of companies to help us deliver our services including Zoom, Kajabi, Stripe, Mailchimp, Calendly, Quenza, Google. Many of our service providers are based outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) so their processing of your data involves a transfer of data outside of the EEA. We do our best to only use service providers that adhere to codes of conduct that match European standards for protecting your privacy, but we are not responsible for the content or practices of third party services. If you have any questions please refer to the Privacy Policies of the individual providers before disclosing any information or accessing our services. We never share or sell your data for third party marketing.
Data Retention
We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose we collected it for, and to satisfy legal, tax or accounting requirements.
Data Security
Security for all personally identifiable information is extremely important to us. We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your data to those companies who have specific a business need to use your data (e.g. to process your payments), and employees/contractors who support delivery of our services. Client notes and mentoring documents are only ever accessed by Clare Roche. We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data breach and will notify you as soon as possible where we are legally required to. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit via the internet. By submitting any such information to us online, you accept that you do so at your own risk.
Children Aged 13 and Under
We recognise the special obligation to protect identifiable information obtained from children aged 13 and under. AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, WE REQUEST THAT YOU DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OUR WEBSITE, OR BUSINESS. If we discover that a child aged 13 or younger has submitted information, we will delete that child’s identifiable information from our records.
